Terms of Service

1. Payment

Upon confirmation, the payment can be done following one out of two options:

  • 100% upfront;

  • 50% upfront, 50% remainder when commission is finished, before the delivery of the final product.

  • Payment is done via Swish.

  • Client agrees to pay the due amount upfront for any orders of value lower or equal to 500 SEK.

  • I am selling the digital file only; costs from printing, framing and/or delivery will be charged separately.

  • Currency conversion costs, bank transfer fees, payment provider service fees and any other costs involved in transferring funds shall be of responsibility of the client.

2. Reviews and Alterations

  • It is highly recommended that any changes are made during the sketch stage of the commission. Once past that, requested alterations may be subject to extra charges, since alterations get progressively more complex to apply over time and may therefore affect the deadline.

  • There is no set number of changes the client can ask for during the sketch stage, but common sense applies here! If the client is asking for too many alterations, I can refuse them based on my artistic judgement, or simply for the sake of the deadline.

3. Deadline and Delivery

  • The turnaround time for illustrations Type I is expected to be of 2 weeks.

  • For Types III-V, the expectation is 3 to 8 weeks.

  • Do be aware that the deadline is only an estimate since I work in multiple projects at the same time, apart from side jobs! Feel free to ask for progress updates.

  • Client shall receive the final PNG file(s) through e-mail. It will contain the artwork in full resolution and a lower resolution copy of it that is to be used when sharing the image online.

4. Copyright and Usage Policy

As for the artist:

  • I hold all the copyrights over the commissioned work.

  • I may post WIP (work in progress) and the finished artwork on social media, artbooks and portfolio unless requested differently by the client.

As for the client:

  • If you post the art somewhere, do tag me or include the proper credits (Natzesva).

  • Never post the original file! Always compress it when posting online.

  • The commission is for personal use of the client only, which implies that any sort of distribution, profit, or replica is strictly forbidden!

  • Alterations of the original piece are not allowed.

  • My art shall not be used for any AI generator, cryptocurrency, NFT, or future inventions of such.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • The client shall receive a full refund if the illustration is still on thumbnail stage.

  • If the client cancels the commission, the refund will be proportional to the progress done. Do be aware of the 50% in advance! (Ex: if the commission is cancelled when approximately 30% of the work is done, then the refund shall be of 20% in case the 50% were paid upfront).

  • Client has right to request a full refund if there’s been no progress for two consecutive months, or when the commission has not been completed within four months. These provisions exclude work interruptions caused by unforeseen circumstances such as illness or accident.

  • I reserve the right to cancel any order, under the condition of full refund, unless the cancellation is due to disrespectful behaviour. In this case, refund will follow the normal policy.

How to Order

Send an e-mail to [email protected]

I

Name your e-mail as “Commission - Type [type of your choice]”
Please start with a clear description of what you want, for which purposes (ex. picture profile, framing, gifting someone, commercial use, etc), and all possible information that might help me. That includes your visual reference(s) for the piece you’re commissioning, clear descriptions about outfit, mood, pose, colours, elements you would like to see on it, preferences regarding background, etc. Don’t be scared of a long e-mail; the more you give me, higher are the odds I’ll be able to represent what you want! Even music might help, so do share songs or playlists if you have them! Mood boards are also very helpful.
Details such as specific dimension of the image or commercial use is highly important to be mentioned straight away.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask them in the same e-mail, but do read the Terms of Service carefully before.

II

I’ll send you a reply with the price after all the applicable fees. If you agree to go along with it, you can Swish me according to the Terms and Service.

III

I’ll confirm your payment and start working on the commission. I’ll begin by drawing at least 3 different thumbnails from which you will choose which one to follow through.

IV

Updates with images are expected at least once per step (Sketch / Lineart / Colour), and I might get in touch to ask some questions if needed.

VI

Once finished, I will send the final illustration(s) version in low resolution for a last check-up. If you had chosen to pay 50% upfront, the remaining 50% is to be paid at this moment.

V

After confirming the payment (if any), I shall send you the final PNG file(s) through e-mail. It will contain the artwork in full resolution and a lower resolution copy of it that is to be used when sharing the image online.
